"I don’t want to pass unhealthy habits along to my children any longer, and I want to be around for them for many, many years to come".
Heather's #upBEattribe Journey
Why did you start your health journey?
I am a stay at home wife of a minister and mom of six kids, with the youngest being 9 year old triplet girls. My older children are a daughter-18, son-15, and son-11. I used to be thin and in shape, but over the years my health has taken a backseat to keeping up with ministry and my kids. Getting pregnant with triplets was
the shock of our lives, but we can’t imagine life without them. I decided to change my lifestyle when my oldest daughter expressed an interest in joining WW with me. I’m determined to be the healthiest mom I can be for all my kids. I don’t want to pass unhealthy habits along to my children any longer, and I want to be around for them for many, many years to come.
How did you find UTTB and what impact has it had on your health journey?
I began WW in February and wanted to find a low-impact workout to get me started with activity. I went to YouTube, and I saw Gina’s Move Into the New Year. I decided to try it, and I’ve been hooked ever since!
My Favorite #upBEattribe Workout?
What wins I’ve celebrated (scale and non-scale victories)?
Down 30lbs, sleeping better, down 1-2 sizes, can hang with all the workouts now, feeling motivated to continue and succeed!
A piece of advice I can offer to someone starting their fitness journey is...
Never give up. No matter what the scale says, how badly you messed up, keep going! Never give up!
